读经内容：提多书第3章，腓利门书

在保罗的书信中我们可以看到基督里真实的团契生活是怎样的。保罗给提多的每一条建议都是从爱心出发，从为了教会的利益出发。我们在这个世界生活，难免要受到许多的挣扎与试探，会遇到各种各样的问题，但是靠着爱我们的主，我们不仅有今生的祝福，也有永生的盼望。
保罗告诉提多要教育众人顺服官长。从前几天的读经内容，我们就已经知道了，保罗不是一个社会革命家。罗马政府当时并不是一个对犹太人和基督教友善的社会，相反，保罗是被囚的，基督徒也遭遇了极大的迫害，但是保罗却要众人顺服官长，遵他的命，还要预备行各样的善事，这从人的情感角度确实是无法理解。但是，保罗的眼光并不是在地上，而是在天上。那些为了私欲而去毁谤，争竞，悖逆的，并不是真正的基督徒，因为他们服侍的不是神，而是自己的私欲。所以，当我们今天为了什么事情而去争辩的时候，要去想，我这么做是为了神的利益，还是为了我自己的利益呢？
腓利门书是圣经当中最短的一卷书，里面主要讲一件私事，就是为了一位腓利门的曾经逃跑的奴隶阿尼西母求情。因为阿尼西母在主里给了保罗许多帮助，并且能够在福音的拓展工作上做出许多贡献。
虽然在信中，保罗并没有直接说出要求腓利门释放阿尼西母，但是保罗谦卑的恳求腓利门对待阿尼西母“不再是奴仆，乃是高过奴仆，是亲爱的兄弟。(腓利门书 1:16 和合本)”即使是在这样一封求情的信中，保罗也没有提出要让腓利门释放阿尼西母，解除他的奴隶身份。最后腓利门会释放他还是给了他更好的待遇，我们不得而知。保罗在向腓利门求情的时候，是说如果阿尼西母亏欠了腓利门什么，保罗必替他偿还，因为连腓利门也是亏欠保罗的。所以，我们相信，腓利门最后必定会赦免阿尼西母的债（且不说阿尼西母逃跑，奴隶要赎身就要付给主人一大笔钱），因为他也欠了神的债。
我们都欠了神的债，所以，我们要过讨神喜悦的生活，预备行各样的善事，去帮助其他人。因为主耶稣说， “我实在告诉你们，这些事你们既做在我这弟兄中一个最小的身上，就是做在我身上了。”(马太福音 25:40 和合本)
