读经内容：诗篇4-6

每当我们在患难痛苦中的时候，我们可以向谁求助呢？尤其是对一个君王来说。一个高高在上的君王，身边能有几个知心朋友呢？有谁他可以倾诉心事呢？别人会认为他是君王，要不然敬畏他，要不然惧怕他，要不然防着他，要不然等着谋害他。我们作为普通人，都尚且不轻易向人敞开心扉，何况是大卫王呢？
然而，大卫也是人。也有人的软弱，他也有患难困苦的时候，他的心里也有焦虑难过的时候。谁能安慰他呢，他只能向神倾诉。但是幸运的是，大卫的神是信实的神，是真实存在的神，是看顾人的神。在大卫谦卑的转向耶和华的时候，神都会顾念他。大卫本不是义人，但是因着相信神，神就显他为义。
人生在世，难免起起伏伏。一个君王，更是如此。年少得志的大卫，晚年却遭遇儿子背叛。他也曾在情欲面前迷失，引起神的惩罚。所以，更是要提醒我们，得志时不能迷失方向，纵使人是不义的，但是一旦我们回头，神必收纳也必怜悯。
大卫在痛苦是，向神做了祷告，献上公义为祭，倚靠耶和华。他心里的痛苦就消失了，他说，“你使我心里快乐，胜过那丰收五谷新酒的人。我必安然躺下睡觉，因为独有你－耶和华使我安然居住。”(诗篇 4:7-8 和合本) 不管这一天经历了怎样的疲乏与痛苦，当我们躺在自己的床上的时候，周围一片寂静的时候，我们的心里是不是也能有宁静呢？若是我们能像大卫一样，全然的倚靠耶和华，我们的心里就会有平安与喜乐，就会安然入睡。
思考与应用：你会在每日临睡前向神献上感恩的祷告吗？请试着操练今天晚上睡前向神祷告交托。
