读经内容：诗篇54-56

只要有神与我们在一起，我们还会怕谁呢？在你的生活中，是否也有过这样的经历，你最亲密的朋友，你所信赖的人背叛了你。你感受到痛苦和绝望，感到惊恐和愤怒。诗人大卫也有这样的经历。
诗篇54-56篇记录了大卫在人生的前半段遭遇扫罗追杀时的情形。他的敌人追杀他，让他感受到了绝望，痛苦，无助，而在那样的时刻里，他只能向他的神求助。在撒母耳记中，曾多次记载，因为神的保护，大卫才躲过了扫罗的追杀。
扫罗因为是以色利的王，所以许多人都因为巴结他，而出卖大卫，以取悦讨好扫罗。而处在逆境当中的大卫，只有倚靠神。而拥有神的大卫，就等于拥有了一切，在原本不可能活下来的情况下一次次的虎口脱险。那些善于钻营的小人，为了巴结扫罗，颠倒是非，曲解大卫的话，以抹黑大卫。那些曾经与大卫结盟的人，也出卖他。大卫以为他们是朋友，然而他们却为了利益而出卖他。
“他背了约，伸手攻击与他和好的人。他的口如奶油光滑，他的心却怀着争战；他的话比油柔和，其实是拔出来的刀。”就好像是出卖耶稣的犹大一样，表面上跟随耶稣，耶稣也称他为自己的朋友，但是转头却为了三十两银子而出卖了耶稣。
然而，神是鉴察一切的神。虽然在困境与痛苦中，神亲自拯救被人陷害与追杀的大卫。“我倚靠 神，我要赞美他的话；我倚靠耶和华，我要赞美他的话。我倚靠 神，必不惧怕。人能把我怎么样呢？”（诗56:10-11）所以，不要怕，这也成为我们今天的信心来源。我们若是倚靠着神，人又能把我们怎么样呢？
