读经内容：诗篇28-30

你会害怕打雷的声音吗？许多人听到打雷的声音都会感到很恐惧，要不然就关紧门窗，要不然就捂住耳朵。如今，透过现代科学，我们知道打雷只是一种自然现象。在古代，人们透过雷声来感叹造物主的伟大。这并不是说古人有多么的愚蠢，而我们拥有了现代科学就比他们聪明许多。事实上，诸天诉说神的荣耀，穹苍传扬他的手段，说的就是这世间万物都是上帝的创造，自然科学只是一种帮助我们认识上帝创造物的手段，却并不能帮我们了解并且敬畏上帝。相反，我们越是依赖我们自己的发现，就越是对上帝进行批判，仿佛他只是存在古代神话传说中人们的想象。
诗篇第29篇，诗人多次描述耶和华的声音，他的声音发在水上，荣耀的神打雷，在大水之上打雷。诗人看见打雷，便会联想到上帝的能力。而这里的大水，除了这里之外，就是创世纪中的挪亚大洪水。我们可以想象，在挪亚大洪水来临的时候，天空乌云密布，雷声滚滚，那是审判的声音，是上帝荣耀的全能彰显的声音。
所以，神的声音是什么样的呢？我们无法得知。但是透过诗人的描述，我们知道，神的能力在透过这世界的万物在彰显，在祂运行掌管宇宙星辰，对世界施行审判的时候彰显。祂的声音一定是充满力量和权能的。“洪水泛滥时，耶和华坐着为王；耶和华坐着为王，直到永远。”（诗29:10）挪亚大洪水是神的审判，而在末日审判的时候，也是神的掌权。在启示录中也有类似的描写，“我听见从天上有声音，像众水的声音和大雷的声音，并且我所听见的好像弹琴的所弹的琴声。”（启14:2）
我们并不是要把打雷与神联系在一起，好像上帝是雷神一样。而是要看到神的荣耀和权能是好像一切令人感到震撼和敬畏的事情，要知道我们的神是掌管一切的，所以我们要心存敬畏，好使我们如同启示录所启示的那样，听到福音就相信神的大能。因为在洪水泛滥的时候，神也拣选了祂的百姓，挪亚一家。
我们若是承认自己的罪，来到神的面前悔改归向他，祂是信实的，必要赦免我们一切的罪。就如同诗篇30篇，大卫的献殿之诗，晚年的大卫用他自己一生的经历告诉后人们，“神的怒气不过是转眼之间；祂的恩典乃是一生之久。”（诗30:5）耶和华会擦掉一切的眼泪，脱去因为悲哀而披上的麻衣，为我们悔改来到祂儿子面前的人披上喜乐的新衣。
思考与应用：你会因为这世界一切的创造而感叹上帝的伟大吗？
