读经内容：哥林多前书12-13章
默想分享：
在保罗书信中，大约没有哪一章节能够像哥林多前书第13章一样充满了感情。在这一章中他不讲教义只说爱。爱对于人类来说是一个亘古常新的话题。爱是多么独特的人类情感，而我们爱是因为神先爱了我们。
如果没有爱，我们就与机器无异。在2022年WTS的毕业生典礼上，Dr. O. Palmer Robertson 的演讲的题目是 “但是没有爱，” （But Have No Love） 就是一篇哥林多前书12-14的讲道。他的讲道就是要提醒即将从神学院毕业的学生们，你们已经完成了神学院所有的学习，但是如果你们走向教会的讲台的时候，如果没有爱，所学的一切，所有的装备，所有的能力都是无用的。
这是对这章经文最好的解释，而不是仅仅用在婚礼上对新人的祝福。当我们在基督里的时候，我们这群世上的陌生人就因着耶稣成为了一家人，这也是对将来在天上最美的家园的预表。而我们就要用我们的能力，我们的恩赐，因着基督里的爱彼此服侍。
如果我们没有爱，我们或者就会因为别的肢体事奉能力不够而互相指责。如果我们没有爱，我们就会在日复一日的服事中感到倦怠。神给了我们每个人不同的属灵的恩赐，神也给了我们每个人爱的能力。爱是恒久忍耐，那是我们付出了爱之后即使受到了伤害依然向起初那样的爱着对方。因为这爱是神先给了我们，我们爱别人，就是在爱着神。
而我们身体里的罪性让我们不敢付出爱，让我们计算爱，让我们在付出之前先筹算这是不是会收到回报。在付出爱没有得到回应甚至被伤害之后，不是蜷缩起来自怨自艾就是筹算着如何报复。但是想想耶稣基督，他是怎样的以德报怨，是怎样的在我们还做罪人的时候就爱了我们。让我们效法基督，以他的心为心，以他的爱去爱其他人。
思考与应用：爱人和被爱哪一个更重要？我们要如何操练爱人如己呢？
祷告：亲爱的主耶稣，愿我能够因着你给我的爱而去爱别人，让我能够操练你那舍己的爱，阿们！
